About Noor Yacoub
Noor Yacoub, founder of one of North London’s leading and successful recruitment consultancies, sold her company after 15 years and took time out to reflect on the changes in the industry.
Prior to establishing and building her own consultancy, Noor worked within Human Resources setting up inbound and Outbound Call Centres within the Telecommunications industry which were then bought out by one of the leading providers today. This placed her in a unique position of awareness of the financial costs when an Agency gets it wrong, with regards to time and training wasted as well as recruitment fees. Noor also led and developed teams with one of London's largest Property and Construction recruiters who are now global with offices across Australia, Asia and the Middle East.
It was then that she saw her unique position and combined experience of Agency and Human Resources that she decided to continue her recruitment journey and set up her own consultancy in 2001 which she took through the difficulties of the 2008 recession before selling in 2016.
Noor has always been passionate and driven about recruitment and is committed to going the extra mile for her clients. She has a personable approach and has set up Tigress Recruitment with a clear vision - to recruit the best.
